We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience with Laravel and Node.js, and a strong understanding of modern web development principles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend systems using Laravel and Node.js.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the backend and frontend components of our web applications.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices and standards.
- Develop and implement efficient database structures and queries.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues, and implement solutions to improve system performance and stability.
- Work closely with the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in backend development using Laravel and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Proficiency in working with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.), including designing efficient database structures and writing complex queries.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant work experience is a plus.
